This is another landmark in the heart of Taipei. This octagonal red brick building was built in 1908. It used to be a shopping center for Japanese people during the Japanese occupation.

Currently, there are both coffee shops, a zone showing the history of The Red House, and walking further inside, there are shops selling products from local Taiwanese artists. There are many cute designs. Try stopping by.

It's very easy to get there.
