Green Island, an outlying island off Taitung, was once famous for being a prison. However, Green Island's local scenery and stunning ocean scenery surpass all else. Let's enjoy its beauty!

A must-see on Green Island, whether diving or snorkeling, is the Chaikou and Shilang diving areas, where you can see a rich marine ecosystem and swim alongside sea turtles.

The Green Island Lighthouse is also a landmark attraction. Every island has a prominent lighthouse, serving as a guide for sea dwellers and a reminder for pedestrians to stay safe. The beach below the Green Island Lighthouse is also beautiful.

The Chaori Hot Springs, the Pug, and the Sleeping Beauty are also unique attractions on Green Island. The sunset at Niutou Mountain is also a favorite of mine – it's truly dreamy!

Other attractions include the Human Rights Cultural Park (Green Island Prison), Dabaisha Beach, and the Horseshoe Bridge.
