Taitung Scenic Highlights: Sunrise, Highway 9, Duoliang Station, and Taitung Night Market.

The eastern coastline is the perfect spot to enjoy breathtaking ocean views. Rising early at 5:30 AM, I was greeted by an unbeatable sunrise, illuminating the start of a beautiful day.

Following the coastline, I reached the 420km marker on Highway 9, also known as '9420.' The art installation here is incredibly charming, and Duoliang Station, the closest station to the sea, is a must-visit.

Taitung Zhengqi Road Night Market:
- The oyster omelet has a crispy outer layer—definitely worth a try.
- The duck head is fried and then machine-cut into pieces. It's tastier than the Dongshan duck head at Shilin Night Market.
- Highly recommend the fried tofu skin. Freshly fried, the tofu skin is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Compared to the fried tofu skin at Ruifeng Night Market, the texture and warmth here are significantly better.
