Why not plan a trip to Green Island from Taitung?

Green Island Village is simple and plain
The islanders' lives are very pleasant.

Green Island is formed by the accumulation of lava from an underwater volcanic eruption.
Surrounded by pebbles, coral reefs, volcanic rocks and white sand bay
It is really a pollution-free blue ocean
The seawater is clear and transparent down to the bottom of the sea at a depth of 10 meters
Therefore, it has become a popular diving resort for many travelers.

Get off at Taitung Station
Transfer to Hualien Bus/Dingdong Bus and get off at Fugang Station
Take a boat from Fugang Pier to Green Island, Taiwan. The journey takes about 50 minutes.

Our hotel "Happy Moonlight" has one-stop service, which is very convenient~
(Remember to inform them of your itinerary in advance.)

After arriving at Green Island, we were taken to the diving office (like a castle) to fill in the information and arrange the time~

After finishing the formalities, we were picked up and taken back to the B&B.

For easy access and island tours~
We decided to rent an electric scooter for 2 days.
The clerk will teach you how to operate it. It's actually quite easy.
(But you have to strike a good balance haha~)

Set off around the island~~~

1. Yuzu Lake Blue Hole
IG celebrity check-in destination
Many people go snorkeling here. It's beautiful!
(Unfortunately we don’t have enough time ~)
There are many towering volcanic rocks on the beach.
Standing like a mountain on the beach

2. Dabaisha
Dabaisha is the largest and most complete beach on Green Island.
Located on the southwestern tip of the island
The characteristic is its endless white sand beach that stretches for hundreds of meters.
It is one of the three major diving areas in Green Island.
At low tide, you can clearly see the trail and the surrounding rocks.

3. Green Island Lighthouse
The lighthouse was destroyed in an air raid during World War II
The lighthouse we see today was rebuilt in 1948.
Green Island Lighthouse has 150 steps
You can overlook the whole island from the top of the tower, but unfortunately it is not open to the public now.

4. Green Island Prison
The worst and best memory
Green Island Prison was a place to monitor political prisoners in the early days.
The names carved on the walls of the Human Rights Memorial Park
They were all political prisoners who had been detained.
This commemorates Taiwan's pursuit of democracy, freedom and human rights.
