Mysterious Coastal Wonders at Jinshan Mystery Coast

#chinatravel Checked out the Mystery Coast near Jinshan in New Taipei City and it was such a fun and unique stop. This coastal stretch starts near Shuiwei Fishing Harbor and opens up into a rugged terrain of stacked rock formations and marine-eroded cliffs. Walking through the narrow one line sky sea cave feels like stepping into another world before you pop out into a secret oceanfront clearing.

The rocks here are wild, honeycomb shapes, tofu-like layers, seaside cliffs and tide channels all blending together. It is extra scenic with the Twin Candlestick Islets visible in the distance. The hike is short but slippery in spots, so wear good shoes and keep an eye on tide times, high tide can block the cave exit.

The vibe is raw and adventurous without being hard-core. Great for snapping photos, breathing in sea air, and feeling one step closer to nature’s hidden beauty.
