Rocky Coastal Vibes at Shimen Cave

#chinatravel Shimen Cave along the northeast coast is a fun little stop if you’re out for a scenic coastal drive. The main attraction is this cool natural rock arch by the sea that you can walk through and snap some photos of. The ocean breeze hits just right and the waves crashing nearby make it a super relaxing spot. I went on a weekday and it was pretty quiet, which made it even better.

There are some walking paths around the area and lots of rocks to climb or sit on if you’re into that. It’s not a huge place but the views of the ocean and rugged coastline are totally worth it. There are a few vendors nearby selling snacks and drinks, so you can grab something and chill by the water. If you’re cruising along the northeast coast and want a quick but pretty nature stop, Shimen Cave is an easy and refreshing detour.
