#chinatravel Spent a lazy afternoon wandering around Da An Forest Park in Taipei and it was just the chillest spot ever. It’s like Taipei’s version of Central Park, but smaller and with way more scooters parked outside. The place is full of trees, wide open grassy areas, little trails, and lots of benches if you're just in the mood to sit and people-watch.
There’s a cute pond in the middle with turtles and ducks doing their thing. You’ll see folks jogging, kids on bikes, and older people doing tai chi or just stretching in the shade. It’s super local and super peaceful.
One of the coolest parts? There’s a little amphitheater where they sometimes do outdoor performances or just random musicians jamming. You kind of forget you’re in a busy city when you’re there.
It’s free, easy to get to by MRT, and perfect if you need a breather without leaving the city.
