It was built in the third year of Jin Taihe (1203) and covers an area of ​​7,000 square meters. Qingyuan Confucian Temple is a relatively large and complete temple preserved in Qingxu County. It was repaired during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, with it being rebuilt once and continued to be repaired eight times. The Jin Dynasty Dacheng Hall in the temple is a rare relic in the country.

The hall has a single-eaved hip roof, five-layer bracket sets, and a double-copy structure. The beams inside the hall are exposed from top to bottom, and the cross-sectional ratio is 3:2, which is a characteristic of Song and Jin architecture.

There are four layers of single-second construction under the eaves, and one layer of construction in the middle. The statue of Confucius stands in the center, with a rosewood carved screen behind him, which looks solemn and elegant. On the pillars on both sides of the pedestal hang a pair of wooden couplets with gold-plated characters on a black lacquer background, which read "The vast ocean of literature hangs like the sun and the moon, and the pure breeze of morality records the Spring and Autumn Annals."
