This time, I visited Taizhou in Jiangsu, a hidden gem that made me fall in love with its leisurely two-day charm! 🌸 For those who want a full experience, check out my guide—it’s guaranteed to make your trip fun and delicious!
🌞 **Day 1: Meiyuan Garden - Old Street - Taoyuan Garden - Wanghai Tower - Fengcheng River - Pozijie Street**
- **Morning**: If you're driving, Meiyuan Garden is a great choice. This is the memorial hall of Master Mei Lanfang, with convenient and free parking. It takes about an hour to explore fully.
- **Noon**: Step out of Meiyuan Garden, and you’ll find the famous Old Street! Filled with Ming and Qing dynasty charm, it’s packed with snacks. Don’t miss the Huangqiao Sesame Cake and Crab Roe Soup Dumplings—each bite is unforgettable! Then, stroll to Taoyuan Garden, themed after *The Peach Blossom Fan*, where peach blossoms in spring create a dreamy scene. 🌸
- **Afternoon**: After Taoyuan Garden, cross a small bridge to find *Fifty Strings Coffee*. Here, you can enjoy coffee with a full view of Wanghai Tower. If you don’t want to climb the tower, this is the perfect alternative!
- **Evening**: Don’t forget a leisurely walk along Fengcheng River and Pozijie Street. The neon lights reflecting on the river make for a mesmerizing night view. Pozijie Street is a foodie’s paradise, offering local snacks and affordable clothes! 🛍️
🌚 **Night**: I recommend staying at the Holiday Inn Express near *MixC*—super convenient! Here are some delicious nearby spots:
- *Maliuji*: Spicy dishes, incredibly tasty!
- *Keming Bing Shi*: Must-try curry shrimp!
- *Shan Huanhuan*: Sour soup hot pot—worth the wait! 🥘
🌼 **Day 2: Wanghai Yaju - Museum - Art Museum - Return Trip**
- **Morning**: Start with an authentic dim sum breakfast at Wanghai Yaju—the ambiance is fantastic! I tried all the specialties, like *Tang Gansi* (shredded tofu), crab roe buns, and shrimp dumplings. The flavors even surpassed Yangzhou’s famous dim sum! 😋
- **Noon**: After filling up, visit the museum and art museum—parking is still free! Note: Some exhibits might be a bit thrilling, so take your time if you’re brave!
- **Afternoon**: For lunch, try *Bian Taitai’s Ningbo Steamed Dishes* and the famous *Sun Ji’s Cumin Roujiamo*—the meat-filled bun is a must-try, full of surprises! 🌟 Refuel and head back satisfied!
Taizhou is a small city with everything—food, fun, and relaxation. A trip here is totally worth it! Come explore this hidden gem with me! ❤️
