Scenic Takachiho Gorge

A recent visit at Takachiho Gorge even though is after rain but the views is still beautiful. This gorge located in Miyazaki Prefecture and highly to put in your Kyushu itinerary. The gorge is formed by columnar jointing, the result of the rapid cooling of an ancient lava flow. The view of the gorge from a boat directly up the 17-meter Manai Falls is truly thrilling. However, due to high water after rain, all boat ride are cancelled. #takachihogorge
