Takamatsu 🇯🇵Shikoku Village

Shikoku Mura is an outdoor museum that was created by relocating and restoring old houses from four prefectures: Kagawa, Ehime, Kochi, and Tokushima. It is used as an important part of children's social learning.
In Shikoku Village, which is rich in natural resources, there are traditional industrial facilities such as houses and daily utensils that allow you to understand ancient life, and soy sauce breweries. There are also traces of the stage where local residents transformed themselves into Kabuki actors and performed "Rural Kabuki".
In addition, Shikoku Village also displays the lifelike works of sculptor Nagatoshi Masayuki and the Shikoku Village Art Exhibition Hall designed by architect Tadao Ando. This art gallery displays a variety of sculptures, Buddhist statues, paintings, and other works of art. From the balcony, you can also see the "waterscape garden" built using the slope. #2024TravelReview
