Ritsurin Garden is located in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. Although it is not one of the three famous gardens in Japan, its scenery is in no way inferior to the most famous gardens in Japan such as Kenrokuen!
Ritsurin Garden is a nationally designated scenic spot with an elegant Japanese garden design.
This park was built in the early Edo period and has a history of nearly 400 years. Its ponds, bridges, and cascading rockery are all very elegant.
You can truly experience what the Japanese say, "One step, one view", and enjoy different beautiful scenery with every step you take.
There is also a tea room and exhibition space in the park, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, rest and enjoy the Japanese tea ceremony culture. The total tour time is about 1.5-2 hours.
