Ritsurin Garden, Takamatsu City

Ritsurin Garden

A garden with six ponds and 13 artificial hills, covering an area the size of 16 Tokyo Domes.

It was completed over a period of about 100 years by successive feudal lords of the Sanuki Takamatsu domain during the Edo period.

It is currently designated as a special national scenic spot.

It is also one of Japan's leading feudal lord gardens, receiving the highest three-star rating in the Michelin Green Guide Japan.

*For groups of 20 or more, adults 330 yen, children 140 yen

New Year's Day and the park's opening anniversary (March 16th) are free admission days
