Ritsurin Garden is one of Japan's most renowned cultural heritage sites, and it's said to have been maintained and renovated for about 100 years.
I was amazed to see how well-preserved this early Edo period garden is.

Ritsurin Garden is said to have been a villa for feudal lords for approximately 228 years, from the Edo to the Meiji periods.

Behind Ritsurin Garden lies Mount Shiranzan. There's even a small waterfall on the mountain side. The overall scenery is stunning, and the observation deck is perfect for viewing!
