Shirahige Shrine, known as "Omi's Itsukushima" for its vermilion torii gate built in Lake Biwa, is a spectacular power spot.

As it is located along the national highway and has a lot of traffic, it is recommended that you do not cross the road and use the observation deck "Lake Aiko Shirahigedai" set up in front of the shrine office!
