Longyuankou Town is the seat of the famous "Longyuankou Victory" and the first rural Party branch in the country founded by Comrade Mao Zedong - the Qiuxi Township Party Branch. It is located at the southern end of Yongxin County, adjacent to Jinggangshan City and five townships including Caifeng, Zhongzhong, Yange, Sanwan and Qubai.
Longyuankou Town has established three farmers' markets: Qiuxi, Sijiao, and Dunshang, creating a "one town, three markets" pattern. The town government's built-up area covers one square kilometer. Dunshang Subdistrict has completed construction as a municipal-level comprehensive demonstration site for new rural areas. The town's Municipal Administration and Urban Appearance Management Office has been established, further standardizing street construction and management, improving the town's quality, and boosting commerce.
Longyuankou Town is an important part of the Jinggangshan tourism circle. It boasts not only rich revolutionary resources and profound cultural heritage, but also beautiful natural scenery. Here, red, green, and ancient colors complement each other beautifully.
With a subtropical monsoon humid climate, Longyuankou Town has beautiful scenery and is suitable for travel in all seasons.
