The Miyagawa Morning Market is open from 7am (8am in winter) until 12pm.

There are shops along the road, as well as temporary shops.
It was bustling with people.

There are shops selling Hida Takayama folk crafts and souvenirs.
There are shops selling local agricultural products.
It's a fun morning market with eat-in shops selling sweets and food.

I had mitarashi dango at a temporary dango shop.

Mitarashi, which is not sweet but has a soy sauce sauce, is 90 yen.
If you like sweet dango, "kinakko" topped with soybean flour is 130 yen, and "gohei mochi" is 290 yen.

We got drinks at a local store

We tried "Shiro no Inochi", the "Maboroshi no Asaichi Milk" produced by four dairy farmers in "Hida Furukawa".

Both were delicious morning market snacks😊
