🚠Shihotaka, the only two-story ropeway in Japan

🚠Shihotaka Ropeway, the only 2-story ropeway in Japan. Another place worth going to hunt for red leaves in late October. Because you will get to ride the only 2-story ropeway in Japan. See the view of the mountain peaks full of beautiful yellow, orange, and red leaves. 🏔️🍁🍂

The Shinhotaka Ropeway has 2 sections:
•No.1 ropeway is a small ropeway from Shin-Hotaka Onsen Station to Nabedairakogen Station. It takes 4 minutes.

After getting off the No.2 ropeway, walk from Nabedairakogen Station to Shirakabadaira Station. The station is a very beautiful photo spot, both in front of the station and on the 2nd floor.

On the side of the station, there is a free foot bath while enjoying the view of the red leaves. We liked it so much that we sat there for so long that our feet were sore.

In addition, around the station, there is a 2.3-kilometer Nabedairakogen hiking trail for you to walk around and enjoy the red leaves. If anyone has time left, I recommend going for a leisurely walk.

•No.2 ropeway: Take a double-decker ropeway, the only one in Japan that can hold up to 120 people, from Shirakabadaira Station to Nishihotakaguchi Station, taking 7 minutes. There is a great viewpoint at the top.

🚗 Travel
Since we stayed at Hirayu Onzen, traveling was very easy. We took the bus from Hirayu Onzen Station for only 1 hour. The bus stops in front of the ropeway station.
