A day in magical Takayama 🇯🇵

Takayama truly felt like walking through a historical dream. From the iconic red Nakabashi Bridge to the peaceful Miyagawa River at sunset, every step revealed Japan’s timeless charm. I started at Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, surrounded by ancient trees and peaceful vibes. Then I explored beautifully preserved traditional houses and even saw real samurai armor! Don’t miss the morning market near the river – great for snacks and souvenirs.
Highly recommend taking a slow walk through the old town, especially around golden hour – the light and reflections are just perfect 🌄.
