🍃First impression
From the moment I stepped inside, I had to say it felt like I was walking into a period movie set. The architecture is designed in a blend of traditional Thai architecture and modern luxury.

As you walk in, you'll find a pond in the center, with a bridge leading to your room. The soft sound of birds chirping makes you feel like you've entered another world.

🌼Room
The room I stayed in was a Beachfront Pool Villa (I highly recommend it if you have the chance). Upon opening the door, you'll be greeted by a private pool with a panoramic ocean view. If you're feeling lazy about going into the ocean, just soaking in the pool villa is a bliss.

The interior is decorated in a contemporary Thai style. The bed is large enough to roll around three times without falling.

The bathroom is so spacious you'll want to spread out a yoga mat. Most importantly, the amenities are top-quality. It's not like a small bottle that you open and use up at once.

But what I love most is the little touches, like the welcome fruit and the decorative leaf on the bed that says "Welcome Home." Honestly, I've stayed there many times and it truly feels like coming home.

☕️Breakfast
Those who've stayed in luxury hotels might have experienced a buffet with everything but mediocre tastes, right? But this place goes all out. Breakfast includes a full buffet,

and ends with hot coffee. It feels more like a chic cafe than just a hotel breakfast.

🏖️Swimming Pool & Beach
Those who love to chill by the pool will definitely love this place. The large oceanfront pool is the best. The water is crystal clear, and the lounge chairs aren't crowded like some places that are too close together. This place has private space to stretch your arms and legs without worrying about the person next to you.

But the real highlight is the private beach that stretches as far as the eye can see. It feels like recharging your life. It's incredibly romantic for a couple, but if you come alone, it's a Zen-like experience, like meditating by the sea.

🛶Activities
Some resorts like this have a full schedule of activities that can make you tired. But Devasom has chosen a perfect balance of activities, such as weaving, yoga, and kayaking. Anyone who wants to do so can join, and no one will pressure them.

I tried a coconut leaf keychain-making class. It was fun, and it made the trip not just relaxing, but also like a memorable souvenir.

📍Things to Know
• It's very quiet here. If you're looking for a party with bright lights and sounds, this might not be the answer.
• The price is quite high, but it's worth it.
• The internet is fast enough for work (for those who are secretly working from home).
• If you want beautiful photos, wake up early for sunrise. The light is brutal.
