If you're looking for a unique riverside trekking course in #Changnyeong, we recommend the #Namjigaebiri Trail!
This 6.4km circular trail meanders along the Nakdong River and cliffs. One side follows the river in a refreshingly cool manner, while the other side features a rocky cliff that forms a folding screen.
As the name suggests, "Gaebiri" comes from the combination of "gae" (river) and "biri" (cliff). Another explanation is that it's called "gaebiri" (cliff path) because it's a path where "dogs" (dogs) walk. Perhaps that's why a dog led the way, almost as if guiding the way!
While the trail narrows in some sections, it's generally flat and easy, making it a great experience for families, friends, and couples.
The wildflowers in spring, the silver grass and misty Nakdong River in autumn create a captivating landscape, and the dense bamboo forest is also quite stunning!
If you're driving, the Namji Riverside Park parking lot is convenient. After your trek, you can grab a snack at Namji Market or enjoy a few more sightseeing opportunities before heading back!
📍 Location: Yongsan Village to Yeongaji Village, Namji-eup, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do
