Togronxia Village was the biggest surprise on my southern Xinjiang trip

After spending three nights in Tashkurgan, I stopped by this village just 18 minutes' drive away on my last evening.

Togronxia Village sees few tour groups and even fewer tourists, yet boasts breathtaking scenery! Snow-capped mountains, meadows, grazing livestock, streams, and Tajik ethnic people create a picturesque setting. I recommend spending a full day here - stargazing at night and watching golden sunrise on the mountains in the morning, while soaking in the tranquil beauty.

You can enjoy farmhouse meals, visit Tajik families, try on ethnic costumes, and dance with locals. 🏨 I stayed at Meet·Togronxia Moutain High Camp - rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows facing the mountains, with generous breakfasts and exceptional experiences. There's also an adorable golden retriever named "Niangao" (Rice Cake). The wetland grassland is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel.
