📍 Okumotorigoe: A Rugged and Challenging Path
On the other hand, Okumotorigoe is one of the most challenging stretches of the Kumano Kodo. With a large elevation difference and a series of steep climbs and descents, it's a route that will definitely require some physical effort. However, the spectacular views of the Kumano River and the Kii Mountains that appear along the way are truly breathtaking. The scenery changes depending on the weather; on clear days it's majestic, and on foggy days it's enveloping a mystical atmosphere. Truly a "spectacular view rewarded by the challenge" awaits.
