A completely hidden gem I found on my recent trip to the outskirts of Beijing!

It's Tangshan's Hetou Old Street🤍
Highly recommended for those who want to really feel the traditional Chinese atmosphere!

🌉 Street atmosphere
The old buildings, tiled roofs, and red lanterns are lined up,
so the moment you see it, you'll think, 'Ah, I have to walk around here!'

When the lights come on at night, the atmosphere is heavenly!✨
There are many local families who visit, and it's also popular as a date course.

🍡 Food
There's a variety of food, from traditional snacks to skewers, glutinous rice cakes, and milk tea! I was able to enjoy street food without worrying about hygiene,
and a cup of jasmine tea at a small teahouse completely recharged my emotions💛

Make sure to experience Hanfu on this street!!

If you rent a costume and get your hair done at a nearby experience center,
you can take a great photo that goes perfectly with Hetou Street✨
If you take a picture with an umbrella under the evening lights, it looks like a real drama.

There are lots of props full of traditional feel, such as handicrafts, fans, and embroidered pouches!
The prices are reasonable, and they are perfect for gifts.

1️⃣ 📸 I recommend arriving around sunset to see the night view! 2️⃣ 👘 If you make a reservation in advance for the Hanfu experience, you can avoid waiting
3️⃣ 🥟 You can pay for snacks with cash or WeChat Pay, but it's better to prepare small amounts of cash
4️⃣ 🧭 It's not that big, so it's good to take a quick look around in 1-2 hours!
