Introducing Zunyi Hailongtun
Hailongtun, also known as Longyantun, is located on Longyan Mountain in the Shuanglong Village of Hailongtun Village, Gaoping Town, Huichuan District, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province. Standing majestically on Longyan Mountain, on the eastern branch of the majestic Dalou Mountains, it is a significant relic of the Yang clan Tusi culture of Bozhou in Southwest China during the Song, Yuan, and Ming dynasties.
Hailongtun is the oldest, largest, and best-preserved Tusi castle. Nine gates were built around the front and back of the village, and six in front of it. The nine gates were connected by protective walls, stretching for over ten miles along the mountainside, creating a unique and impressive scene. The summit of the village housed government offices and a military training ground, all of which were magnificent and impressive.
