This time, I visited Xpark in Qingpu, Taoyuan with my family. We chose to take the Taoyuan Airport MRT, which made the trip from Taipei very convenient. After getting off, it was just a short walk to the destination.
Since it was a holiday, the place was quite crowded, and the lively atmosphere was palpable as soon as we entered. However, the exhibits inside were far more diverse than I had imagined. It’s not just an aquarium; the venue is divided into various themed areas, ranging from the deep sea to tropical zones, and from penguins to reptiles. Both kids and adults were constantly amazed as they explored the different spaces.
The most popular photo spot is undoubtedly the jellyfish exhibit. The walls are lined with transparent tanks where jellyfish float gracefully under shifting lights, captivating everyone’s attention. Many visitors queue up specifically to take pictures in front of the "jellyfish wall." Unlike the white wall people might remember, it now features colorful lighting effects, making it even more enchanting. Although you have to wait in line to get the perfect shot, it feels especially worthwhile as a keepsake.
Overall, the layout of Xpark is quite well-organized. Even with the large crowds, it’s still possible to leisurely explore the entire venue. The kids had a great time, and the adults found it relaxing too. Especially in the cool exhibition areas, watching marine life and taking photos felt like stepping into another world. This little trip not only satisfied the children’s curiosity but also gave us plenty of group photos and wonderful memories to cherish.
