🌊Weihai, a city worth visiting near Qingdao⛴️❄️

If you're visiting Qingdao and want to continue your trip to a nearby city,
I recommend "Weihai 威海" 🌊. This seaside city has a great atmosphere, lots of cafes, and it's not crowded. You can easily stroll around all day. It's only about a 2-hour high-speed train ride from Qingdao. 🚄

🏡 We stayed on Huanhai Road (环海). The street name in the photo is a typo. The location is excellent, right across the sea, near the Huojubajie (火炬八街) district, just a 5-minute walk away. On our first day, we chose to stroll along the seafront. Cafes and bars lined the streets, some with cute decor, especially the ones with bonfires, creating a truly captivating atmosphere. 🔥
Walk to the end of the road and you'll find a famous photo spot—the sign with the words "Weihai" in Chinese, a must-visit spot. 📸

𖤐 On our second day, we took photos at the Old Shipwreck ⛴️, which offers a stunning view of the sea. There are plenty of beautiful photo spots. Along the way, there are also several cafes to stop at. Then, we continued our drive to take photos with the "geese" 🪿🪿💨. Then, we reached a cafe called Black Coffee, which has incredibly cute decor. (We didn't stop because we were in a hurry to get back, but we saw it looked so inviting!) ☕️

𖤐 On our last day, we chose to stroll around the Huojubajie area. During the day, it was crowded, but the atmosphere was lively. We were able to take photos right by the sea. 🩵🌊
Then, in the evening, we went to another popular photo spot — "Giant Photo Frame." The sea view was absolutely stunning! It was crowded, but there were plenty of spots to take photos. After we finished, we even got two Polaroids as souvenirs. 🎞️♡

It was just then that it started to snow. ❄️ It kept falling on and off, and then it got heavier as it got dark. It's quite cold! 🥶

For those who love a peaceful city with beautiful cafes and photo opportunities at every corner without having to compete with anyone —
Weihai is another city I highly recommend visiting. 💙
