Located in the center of Tashkent, the Amir Timur Museum is a fun place to learn about the achievements of Uzbekistan's hero, Amir Timur. 💡
The magnificent, beautiful halls are captivating, with ceiling and wall decorations. ✨
Portraits of the great astronomer Ulugh Beg and miniatures of world-famous historical buildings are also on display.
Don't miss the affordable souvenir shops. 🎶
Amir Timur Square, just a short walk from the museum, features a majestic bronze statue of Amir Timur on horseback in its center, and across the square is the historic Hotel Uzbekistan. 🏨
Enjoy the blue skies and greenery, but beware of tourist photo hawkers. 📷
Amir Timur was the founder of the Timurid dynasty in Central Asia. ⭐️
Based in present-day Samarkand, Uzbekistan, he built a vast empire, fusing Turkish and Mongolian cultures.
Visiting the museum and square together is a great way to experience Tashkent's history and culture all at once👍
Access is a short walk from the Amir Temur Square subway station🚃
