Visiting Winery Khareba in Tbilisi became my go-to spot for buying quality Georgian wine without leaving the city. What I love most is how helpful the staff are - they'll happily explain all the different varieties and let you taste before you buy. While they have excellent bottled wines, my favorite discovery was their tap wine system where you can fill your own bottle with affordable, delicious house wines.

The real star for me is their Kingsmarauli - a semi-sweet red that's become my absolute favorite. It has this perfect balance of fruity sweetness with just enough depth. They keep it on tap, my favorite.

Beyond Kingsmarauli, they offer everything from crisp whites to robust Saperavis at reasonable prices. It's not a fancy touristy winery but rather a practical place for wine lovers - the kind of spot where locals pop in to refill their weekly supply. The location is quite central and easy to reach.
