Old Tbilisi love

#cityplaybook #georgia #tbilisi

Walking around Old Tbilisi is really nice. The streets are narrow and winding, with old wooden balconies that look like they could tell stories. You'll see colorful houses leaning against each other, some with pretty carvings or peeling paint that makes them even more interesting.

The best views are along the river. From there you can see the old baths with their round domes, the fortress on the hill, and the modern bridge all at once. The streets go up and down a lot, so you'll suddenly get great views between buildings.

I like how the area feels different throughout the day. In the morning it's quiet with just a few people opening shops. By afternoon there might be someone playing music in a courtyard. Evenings are especially pretty when the sun hits the old buildings.

Wear comfortable shoes because the cobblestones are uneven. Don't worry about getting lost - the area isn't that big, and finding unexpected little cafes or shops is part of the fun. Just take your time and enjoy looking around.
