Narikala Fortress Has All the Views

#summervacay Narikala Fortress is that big ol’ castle-looking thing you keep seeing in Tbilisi photos, and yep, it’s as awesome as it looks. Getting up there is part of the fun. You can hike up through the cute little alleys of the old town, or take the lazy (but scenic) route with the cable car. I did both. No regrets.

Once you’re up there, the views are insane. You can see all of Tbilisi, the river, the domes, the streets, the mountains. It’s like a real-life drone shot. The fortress itself is half-ruins, half exploration zone. You can climb parts of the wall (carefully!), wander through the old stones, and pretend you're defending the city or something.

It’s especially cool around sunset. Golden light on ancient walls? Yes please. Bring water, wear good shoes, and don’t rush, just chill and enjoy the vibe.

Honestly, Narikala is one of those places that makes you stop and go, “Wow, I’m really here.” Absolute must-visit.
