Qutang Gorge In-Depth Cruise Experience

Qutang Gorge has launched an in-depth tour project where visitors can take a sightseeing boat for a 60-minute immersive experience of the Yangtze River’s scenic and cultural gallery from the closest possible distance. This unique perspective is one that most Three Gorges tourists have never seen. There are three main highlights: ultra-close viewing of stone carvings, just a few meters from the cliff carvings, allowing clear views of authentic inscriptions such as “Kuimen Tianxia Xiong” from various dynasties, with a professional viewing window for clearer photos; the best angle to explore hanging coffins, reaching the prime observation point of the Fengxiang Gorge hanging coffin site to uncover the burial wisdom of the Warring States Ba people; and a 360° panoramic slow cruise of Kuimen, with a carefully selected sightseeing boat offering wide views and ample 60 minutes to fully appreciate the scenery rather than just a quick glance, with multiple time slots available to match the best lighting.
