Hot springs emerge when you dig in the sand at Sunayu Campsite

The shores of Lake Kussharo in Hokkaido.

When you dig in the sand, warm hot springs gush out, and it's a place where you can feel the energy of the earth. You can even make an open-air bath!

Be careful, as there are some very hot spots. In the end, I just put my feet on the sand and enjoyed the natural floor heating. lol

There are holes here and there, and there are traces of many people enjoying foot baths.

You can rent a shovel, but it seems better to bring your own towel.

You can drink the hot spring water at the shop, and you can also buy hot spring eggs.

There is also a campsite, so it's nice that you can dig a hot spring right in front of your site ^ ^

Enjoying a sand bath first thing in the morning is also special.

The sunset and starry sky are very beautiful, so I highly recommend it.
