Gasthof Papirio, quietly nestled in the forest near Lake Kussharo

We spent a truly relaxing time at this warm inn run by a married couple 🛏🌿

At night, we warmed ourselves up by the hearth and wood stove. In the morning, we woke up to the quiet sounds of the forest and the birds 🌲✨
The meals were made with plenty of local ingredients, with gentle flavors, and you could enjoy delicious Hokkaido food 💓
