Tiger Cave Temple was established in 1971 by Phra Khru Sithiwimol. Inside the temple, there is a large Buddha statue in the blessing posture situated on a hill, along with a beautifully decorated Thai-style octagonal ordination hall and the 69-meter high, 29-meter wide Kesa Kaew Maha Prasat pagoda. From the hill, visitors can enjoy a beautiful view of the lake and Vajiralongkorn Dam. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the ceremony to raise the gable apex on October 5, 1983. In addition to stairs, there is also an electric tram service to ascend the hill.
Tiger Cave Temple is open to tourists and the public for visits and worship every day.
