Worship the Buddha for good fortune @ Tiger Cave Temple, Kanchanaburi

#VisitKanchanaburi #WatThamSuea #Thailand
📌 Wat Tham Suea is located in Tha Muang District, Kanchanaburi Province. Here, there is the largest Buddha statue in the blessing posture in Kanchanaburi Province and the Thai-style octagonal chapel decorated with very beautiful patterns. There is also the Kesa Kaew Maha Prasat Chedi, an octagonal chedi 69 meters high, which can be seen from a distance.
🙏 There are 2 ways to go up to worship the Buddha:
1. Walk 👣 up the three Naga stairs, each with 158 steps. Along the way, you can take beautiful photos, but I must say that you have to fight the heat and sun.
2. Use the temple's elevator 🚎, which is like a tram up a steep hill (similar to the tram up Victoria Peak in Hong Kong). The fee is 10 baht per person, suitable for the elderly and those who like steep slopes. 😁 At the top, you can see the lake and the Vajiralongkorn Dam. On the other side, you can see beautiful green rice fields. You can worship the Buddha and take pictures of the view.
