Tashichho Dzong

Buddha Dordenma Statue

Takin Mini Zoo
• Attraction introduction: The takin is Bhutan's national animal. This animal, with the head of a goat and the body of a cow, is a hybrid of a goat and a cow. Legend has it that it was created by the Bhutanese mad saint Lama Drukpa Kunley using a goat's head and a cow's body, and can only be seen in Bhutan.
