Lake Myvatn, Iceland: A picturesque yet alien-like landscape

Rice Lake, I stopped for two days, wanting to slowly see the scenery and landscape along the way.

There are many traces of volcanic eruptions all around. Going near the rice porridge there is this place you can walk up to experience after parking very close.
1) Námafjall _ Geothermal area, full of steam and smoke coming from cracks in the ground. Didn't know on Earth at all. 😝
2) Dettifoss What a stunning waterfall.
