Wat Phiphat Mongkhon is an important temple that is outstanding in both history and architecture. Wat Phiphat Mongkhon was originally an abandoned temple in the middle of a rice field. It is estimated to be about 700 years old. Here, there is a glass house church, which is an intricately decorated church with Lanna art. There is a Lanna temple that clearly reflects Lanna art. There is also a golden Buddha statue (Phra Phuttha Sukhopothong), which is a pure gold Buddha statue weighing 9 kilograms and is about 500 years old.
