A one-hour boat ride from the port brought us to Tokashiki Island, an outer island of Okinawa. After landing, we transferred to a private car and followed the mountain road to the beach. 🏖️
Luckily, despite the typhoon canceling flights a few days ago, our departure day was a sunny one. ☀️
As soon as we stepped off the boat, we were greeted by an endless expanse of crystal-clear jelly-like sea. 🤍
There's a daily limit on the number of people allowed onto the island, so the beach wasn't crowded. There were also residents, an elementary school, and interesting little shops on the island.
