Kuramae Shrine in Taito Ward, Tokyo
𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃
It began in 1693 when the fifth shogun, Tokugawa Tsunayoshi, enshrined it from Iwashimizu Hachimangu Shrine in Kyoto as a way to ward off evil spirits from Edo Castle.
Passing through the torii gate, the tree on the right is the Kanhizakura and the one on the left is the Kuramaezakura.
Kuramaezakura is a common name and the variety is unknown, but it is probably Kawazuzakura.
And the mimosa next to the main shrine.
From late February to early March, the three colors of deep pink, pink, and yellow mix together to add a touch of elegance to the grounds.
During this blooming period, the grounds are overflowing with people!
You can take a beautiful photo🤳🏼 by looking up a little.
