There is something about tokyo that other places don't have. In terms of travel, Tokyo is a fantastic place to begin your Japan adventures. It can be a bit overwhelming or weird at times. But as time passes you get used to it. Tokyo allows you to immerse yourself in Japanese culture with sites ranging from old temples and shrines to the electronics of Akihabara, popular spots like shibuya and night life places.

It is a big city with a lot of people. The kind of effort the people of Tokyo put in to ensure both sanity and sanitation is simply astounding. Harajuku and especially Ueno continue to be my staples whenever visiting or passing by Tokyo
