I went to the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, which I had been interested in for a long time.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum is not usually open to the public.

Built as the private residence of the Imperial Asaka family, it is a building by a famous French Art Deco designer and is a national important cultural property.

The special exhibition that can be enjoyed along with such historic architecture is very worth seeing...!!

The works that Aoki Noe and Mishima Ritsue use the materials "iron" and "glass" and the decorative space are a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition that cannot be put into words....โ†

I went in the morning, but the glass that sparkles in the light and the floor where the shadows of the curtains are projected are so beautiful that before I realized it, more than two hours had passedโฐlol
The number of people increased as it got closer to lunchtime, so I think the early hours are the best time to calm down!

The garden outside the museum also retains the atmosphere of the palace, with a spacious front garden covered in grass, a Japanese garden with a pond and a hill, and more, perfect for a stroll. The cherry blossoms in spring and the autumn leaves in autumn look beautiful! It seems that the garden can be viewed even outside of the special exhibition period.
