Tokyo Itinerary | One-day tour of Koishikawa Korakuen and Chidoriguchi Park

#TokyoItinerary

🌟Check in at Tokyo's oldest garden🌟

In the morning, we will go to Koishikawa Korakuen, one of the oldest gardens in Tokyo, with a history dating back to 1629. It is now a shining pearl among the nine classic gardens in Tokyo. This garden was once a part of the residence of the Mito Tokugawa family during the Tokugawa Mitsukuni period. After its completion, it has attracted many tourists with its unique charm. The pond in the center of the garden and the winding trails around it complement each other. There are many kinds of plants and trees, and the garden has different appearances in each season. Particularly fascinating are the plum blossoms in early spring and the maple leaves in autumn, which add endless charm and appeal to this ancient garden.

🌟Don't miss Chidorigafuchi Park during the cherry blossom season🌟

In the afternoon, we will go to Chidorigafuchi, which is located in the moat area northwest of the Imperial Palace. It is named after its unique shape, which resembles the Japanese "Chidori" (a long-legged, short-tailed bird). This is a popular spot for cherry blossom viewing in Tokyo. When spring comes, the 700-meter-long cherry blossom avenue along the river is in full bloom, forming a colorful and intoxicating picture, attracting countless tourists to stop and watch.

But unfortunately, when we went to Tokyo, the cherry blossoms bloomed later than expected due to several cold fronts in March. The cherry blossom trees in Chidorigafuchi are still in bud.
