During the three days in Tokyo, I planned a leisurely walking trip for myself. I just wanted to slow down, stroll around, find a place to have a cup of coffee, and enjoy the rare relaxing time ☕️ So I came to Kiyosumi Gardens, and then went to the nearby Blue Bottle Coffee Shop. This trip was really healing!
The Qingcheng Courtyard is not very large, but precisely because of this, it is less crowded and appears particularly quiet and peaceful. Walking into the courtyard, it seems as if you are suddenly isolated from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, with only the rustling of leaves in the breeze and the occasional chirping of birds. I walked slowly along the path, admiring the carefully trimmed green plants, quaint Japanese buildings and lively pond in the courtyard. When I get tired of walking, I find a bench to sit down, close my eyes, take a deep breath of the fresh air, feel the sunshine gently falling on my body, the warmth seeping from my skin into my heart, and my whole body relaxes.
After coming out of Kiyosumi Garden, the Blue Bottle Coffee Shop is not far away. As you walk into the store, the familiar aroma of coffee instantly lingers around your nose. Order a latte, find a seat by the window, watch the people coming and going on the street outside the window, and reminisce the good times just spent in the courtyard. This is probably the meaning of travel, to encounter a long-lost tranquility and beauty in an unfamiliar place.
I sincerely recommend that you come here when you come to Tokyo to experience the unique comfort of Kiyosumi Garden.
