Back again with my favorite grilled meat restaurant, Yakiniku Jumbo, Tokyo, Japan
This restaurant is considered my favorite yakiniku restaurant. Every time I go to Japan, I have to go back and eat again. 🇯🇵Yakiniku Jumbo Shirokane
The highlight of this restaurant is the Noharayaki or the first two pieces. Every time I eat it, it shines from my mouth, ears, and eyes. It's sooo good! The meat is so fragrant and never breaks apart. The staff will grill this dish for you. They grill it for a while and count the seconds. When it's done, they put it in the raw egg. When it's done, it goes into your mouth right away. You don't have to dip it in anything else. If I hadn't ordered a lot of other things, I would have ordered it again. 😅
Another signature dish of this restaurant is the claypot rice. The rice is very fragrant with butter. Eating it with the meat sprinkled with fried shallots is a perfect match. I think this dish has won an award from Tabelog. You have to make a reservation in advance to eat this pot. Otherwise, you'll miss out.
Jumbo Yakiniku I understand that there are three branches in Tokyo: Hanere and Shirokane.
📖 This restaurant requires a reservation in advance. If it's the Hanere and Hongo branches, I recommend booking 2 months in advance. As for Shirokane, maybe 2 weeks in advance because this branch is very far away, there are few public transportation and not many taxis. It's a bit difficult to travel. 🤑 This meal cost ~ 31,000 yen. I feel light.
