As a professional portrait photographer who travels all over Tokyo, I often have clients who ask to go to Ueno Park to take pictures of cherry blossoms at the beginning. But to be honest, many recommendations on the Internet only allow people to see the cherry blossoms, which makes it difficult to take good photos! Today I will reveal the four most popular locations where I take my clients to take cherry blossom portraits✨

🖼️Figure 2-3: Roppongi Midtown
There is the famous Cherry Blossom Avenue and two large overpasses, allowing you to easily capture the view from various angles! Except for the weekends when there are more people near the residential area, it is completely fine to go there on weekdays, and the photo-taking rate is super high📸

🖼️Photo 4-6: Shioiri Park
There are both early cherry blossoms and Yoshino cherry blossoms here. There is a whole row of hundreds of cherry blossom trees along the river, which looks very Japanese when photographed. Moreover, the location is relatively remote, so there aren’t many people even on weekends. Going there on weekdays can give you a sense of having the whole place to yourself. Love it🥰

🖼️Pictures 7-8: Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden
Shinjuku Gyoen is very famous, so naturally there are many people there. But it’s big enough! As the largest park in Tokyo, even if it is crowded, you can still find an empty corner to take pictures of cherry blossoms. If guests don't want to go too far, this is the right place to go👍

🖼️Pictures 9-10: Sumida River Park
The park is right next to Sensoji Temple, and you can also capture the Tokyo Skytree in the photo. If guests happen to be near Sensoji Temple, this is the first choice. There are cherry blossom trees planted on both sides of the river. The only drawback is that there are too many people in Sensoji Temple🤣
