7 Must-Visit Check-in Locations in Tokyo

#LongHolidayTripPlan
01 : Shibuya
Start with the popular district where you must cross the street at least once! 🤣 A hub of restaurants, shopping, and famous brands bustling all day, filled with Japanese locals and tourists. Some shops are even open 24 hours.

02 : Sensoji Temple
Sensoji Temple (Asakusa), also known as the 'Red Lantern Temple,' is one of Tokyo’s famous and oldest temples. The highlight you can’t miss is taking a photo with the giant lantern in front of the temple and buying a charm to take home.

03 : Shimokitazawa
A hip neighborhood for cool people that perfectly blends traditional and modern Japanese vibes. Each shop is decorated adorably, but the buildings still look very Japanese. Both sides of the street are lined with shops, mostly selling second-hand and handmade items.

04 : Takeshita Street
A shopping street in the heart of Harajuku, another lively spot in Tokyo that you definitely shouldn’t miss. It’s just under 400 meters long but packed with food, clothes, and plenty of goods. Walking here in the evening is super enjoyable.

05 : teamLab Planets TOKYO
Let yourself go with an exhibition full of light, color, sound, and interactive experiences you can feel with your own body. I love it so much; it feels like you’re fully part of the artwork. Since I’m already a fan of teamLab, I want to visit many of their locations.

06 : Yanaka Ginza
A traditional shopping street dating back to the 50s, filled with cat-themed souvenirs! It’s a pity I didn’t get to see any cats.

07 : Tokyo Disneyland
Fun that makes you want to stop time and fully embrace your inner child. Everywhere you look feels like a cartoon world. Disney fans will definitely scream with joy!
