Shinjuku Gyoen, Tokyo

#cherryblossom25

Shinjuku Gyoen was one of the most peaceful places I visited in Tokyo during the cherry blossom season. Unlike Ueno, it’s less crowded and more serene, which made it perfect for reflective walks and quiet photo ops. I used #cherryblossom25 on my post and immediately had people asking where I was! The garden combines Western and traditional Japanese landscapes, so it feels like you’re walking through different worlds with every turn. The sakura here were in full bloom — huge, fluffy blossoms in soft pink and white shades. I found myself just sitting on a bench, sipping matcha from a small kiosk, watching the petals drift down like snow. It’s a truly romantic setting, great for solo travelers or couples. Entry is a few hundred yen, but worth every yen. If you're into calm nature spots rather than parties, this is your place. It’s a #cherryblossom25 highlight for sure!
