A 3-Day Trip Review Fully Immersed in Tokyo’s Local Vibes

Visiting Ueno Park for the first time during cherry blossom season, I instantly understood why everyone is willing to brave the crowds to come here.
Every cherry tree looks like it’s been filtered, and the sunlight is just perfectly matched—so beautiful it doesn’t seem real.
There’s also the classic Japanese garden feature you see in cartoons: the spherical cypress trees.
While admiring the blossoms, I found myself questioning life:
“Is it really free to enter such a beautiful place?!”
Then the crowd waiting in line reminded me:
“Oh right, the price is the sea of people.”
But it’s truly worth it.
The moment the cherry blossoms started to fall, even my hand that was about to scroll on my phone stopped.
Spring, it turns out, feels like this.
